Purpose:
The purpose of this crowd-sourced, fact-based wiki page is to call attention to Dustin Lokhorst’s continued disregard for laws meant to keep people safe — disregard that now stretches into more than 20 years of causing damage and serious injury to himself and others. His dangerous example of lifelong recklessness will have devastating consequences for years to come. When Lokhorst chooses to stop endangering people on the road, that is when we will have nothing more to add to this log.

All of the information on this page is factual & sourced and can be independently verified.

Summary:
Public records show that after his arrest & conviction for manslaughter in the death of 13-year-old Anthony Vos, Dustin Lokhorst continues to be arrested and, in most cases, convicted for nearly 100 felonies, misdemeanors, protection orders, and civil actions in Iowa & California*, including (but not limited to) the following: battering/resisting/obstructing police officers; drug & weapons possession; multiple counts of domestic abuse, stalking, & harassment; tampering with witnesses; vandalism, multiple counts of reckless driving & excessive speeding, and multiple counts of operating without registration and/or a valid driver’s license.

Of these charges, a handful of cases are pending at any one time, and only a handful have ever been dismissed. Lokhorst has been found guilty of all other charges & actions brought against him.

Public records also show that Dustin Lokhorst has crashed motorcycles at least 4 more times since killing Anthony in 2005, but in his own words, he has “wrecked way more than 4 bikes” since then.

He continues to post public videos of himself doing illegal high-speed & high-risk motorcycle stunts on open roads where he puts other people at risk. In May of 2024, Lokhorst bragged online that he has been life-flighted “only” 7 times after being in wrecks. He is demonstrably proud of being a terrible & unskilled driver.

* This log does not report crimes and driving violations Dustin Lokhorst may have committed in other states.
